Andrea Bayer has graduated from the Department of Design at the University Of Applied Sciences in Hamburg in 2011. Since the she is working as a freelance Illustrator for several Magazines, Agencys, Publishers and Musicians.

Her illustrations mostly begin in a handmade drawing. In her sketches, she combines black-and-white space with vivid colour precisely placed on chosen parts in the composition. Writings are set on colourful surfaces, mostly using felt tip pens and markers or acrylic paint. The results are graphic illustrations full of finery but also flashy fun artwork for record covers or even white porcelain.

Andrea Bayer is a member of Illustratoren Organisation (German occupational union for illustrators) and is involved with various projects in music, theatre, art and ecology.

Andrea Bayer lives and works in Hamburg, Germany.
